JF Taylor Constructions is a family owned business with 50+ years of experience.
It takes a special gift of wisdom to know “how” to get the job done right. This wisdom has been passed down from one generation to the next in the Taylor family since John Taylor founded the company in 1967.
JF Taylor Constructions is a multi-generational Australian team of master tradesmen renowned for their specialist skills in the restoration and enhancement of historic family homes.

Our extensive portfolio of work over the last 50 years, covers projects across a broad spectrum of complexity and value ranging from $750,000 to $5 Million. We are trusted to build thoughtful and creative work because we have extensive knowledge and experience, second to none.
JF Taylor Constructions have become one of the leading heritage builders in Sydney’s North Shore and Northern Suburbs, Australia.
Ashley Taylor has steered the company for the last 20 years and the business is a long time (30 years) certified member of the Housing Industry Association (HIA),
We adhere to the National Construction Code and Australian Standards and pride ourselves on delivering excellence with every project.
Our extended Taylor family work across many roles in our business, we live in the Galston area and can often be found at The Local Collective Cafe, Galston.

Our wisdom and master craftmanship is a generational family legacy which translates to great expertise, knowledge and experience in the building and the restoration of significant heritage homes.
Every strong family, business and project is built on honest communication and strong relationships. We are trusted by our partners, architects and clients to take the time to get it right.
We have a great respect for quality heritage buildings, architecture and restorations. Every project inspires our team to do great quality work. This ethos of excellence and pride is what sets our family business apart from the rest.
My dad, John Taylor started this company in 1967. Our combined expertise for quality restoration and creative extensions is well over 50 years. Lucky dad had 8 kids because our business is fuelled by many generations and that’s also our secret!
Tim and I, and our extended family, are all incredibly grateful to our father John for sharing his building wisdom and teaching us his JF Taylor way of working which is imprinted in our company DNA and values.
We recently worked on a wonderful 1927 heritage project in Beecroft and its success was a great collaboration with the architect and the client. We restored an absolute beauty and creatively added more character and light to the original heritage architecture to ensure the legacy can be passed on for future generations.
This is the purpose and passion of everyone at JF Taylor Constructions.
