JF Taylor Constructions was engaged to sympathetically and respectfully refurbish the entire home, redesign
the front and rear garden and construct a new carport that had the design intent to look more like a garden
arbor with a carefully detailed flat roof with projecting pergola outrigger rafters and Arts & Crafts style trellised
column supports.

This house is a picturesque cottage in the Shingled Art and Crafts style. The pool house was also refurbished to
provide a more updated level of outdoor garden entertaining area.

This heritage restoration project was nominated for the Ku-ring-gai Architecture and Urban Design Awards.
